Sounds

Train, featuring me on vocals and guitar, from my CD Tea Leaves. Please note that while I teach guitar and piano, I never claimed to teach singing. (WMA)

Smoke, featuring me on vocals and my cool Taylor 710 guitar before it got stolen (something I am still smarting from- I loved that guitar), from my CD Tea Leaves. (WMA)

Fool My Eye, featuring me on bluesy/jazzy lead guitar, from the now defunct band Satellite Sky. (MP3)

Lookin’ For You, featuring me on bluesy lead guitar utilizing my cool Ibanez Tubescreamer, also from Satellite Sky. (MP3)

Living Room, one more from Satellite Sky, this time with me on mandolin. (MP3)

The key of d minor is, according to Nigel Tufnel, “The saddest of all keys.” In Mozart’s operas the angry people often sang in d minor. Beethoven’s amazing Ninth Symphony is the story of his escaping from the earthly trials and tribulations of d minor to the heavenly delights of D Major. I have always loved this piece. Now, thanks to the magic of MIDI, I can perform it with the seriousness and gravity it deserves. I give you Bach’s Prelude in D Minor from Book I of The Well-Tempered Clavier Scored for Rubber Duckies. (MP3)
